Do the citizens from Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru need to apply for a Tourist Visa to enter to Venezuela?

 

Since January 1st 2005 the Andean Community had eliminated the requirement to apply for Tourist Visas for the citizens of the countries members of the Andean Community (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) that travel BY AIR trough the Venezuelan International Airports.

 

The citizens from the countries members of the Andean Community would be able to stay in Venezuela with the tourist condition no longer than ninety (90) days.

 

The Venezuelan national migration authority will require to the citizens of the countries members of the Andean Community the following documentation:

 

  • Valid passport (at least six months left before expiration date).

  • Round trip ticket and;

  • Hotel confirmation or a notarized letter from the person inviting you as a guest, clearly stating the full name and address.

 

NOTE:

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has made public its decision to retire from the Andean Community but still maintains formal commitments with this economic community until the retirement take legal effect and will inform with time to the citizens of the Andean countries on changes in visa policy agreed within the Andean Community.
